About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for managing and controlling inventory across our warehouses while driving process improvements as needed
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile daily warehouse inventory.
- Perform daily counts of full goods and raw materials; reconcile against SAP inventory levels.
- Research, analyze, and resolve inventory variances using SAP and Excel.
- Reconcile daily, monthly, and annual inventory in SAP and prepare variance reports.
- Identify and report on close-dated product to minimize waste.
- Conduct, document, and report on inventory audits for distribution centers, production centers, service centers, and fleet shops.
- Identify and communicate process and control improvement opportunities to Operations Management; support implementation of sustainable solutions.
- Review internal controls for improvement opportunities with cost/benefit considerations.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on field-level inventory controls per company policy and procedures.
- Manage annual independent inventory counts for equipment, parts, fleet, raw materials, and full goods.
- Review and resolve monthly inventory variance reports with Internal Control and Finance Directors.
- Support standardization and adherence to financial and operational control policies.
- Assist with remediation of internal control issues.
- Provide documentation and reporting for internal and external audits.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned by the Director of Internal Controls.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and technical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Personable with proven ability to build effective relationships across teams.
- Experience in warehouse management or operations strongly preferred.
- Inventory control experience considered an asset.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.; ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach regularly. #LI-AM1
