At Candoo Pharmatech, we specialize in formulation-driven, cost-effective drug delivery solutions that enable new and existing molecules to reach their full therapeutic potential. As a leading CDMO partner, we’re committed to accelerating development timelines for our global pharmaceutical and biotech clients, especially for difficult-to-formulate and high-barrier products across oral, topical, and long-acting injectable formats.
We’re expanding our innovation capabilities and seeking an AI/Machine Learning Scientist – Drug Development and Discovery to help shape the future of drug formulation, optimization, and scale up using cutting-edge data science tools.
What You’ll Do
- Model Complex Formulation Challenges: Use machine learning and generative AI to model and predict optimal formulation variables, excipient interactions, release kinetics, and stability profiles for complex drug products.
- Drive Innovation in Drug Delivery: Develop advanced algorithms to support novel and efficient formulation design, particularly for NDA, 505(b)(2), and ANDA projects including Paragraph IV strategies.
- Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs): Apply LLMs such as LLaMA, GPT, and other seq2seq architectures for tasks like formulation prediction, process optimization, and internal knowledge management.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with formulation scientists, analytical chemists, and project managers to translate data into actionable insights across development and manufacturing stages.
- Advance Internal Capabilities: Lead capability development in AI-driven modeling for formulation screening, scale-up predictability, and regulatory submissions, helping Candoo maintain its industry-leading turnaround time.
- Enable Smarter R&D: Apply predictive analytics and multivariate modeling to accelerate drug product development from pre-formulation to clinical and early commercialization phases.
- Communicate Clearly: Present findings to internal teams and clients. Translate complex computational outcomes into practical recommendations that guide formulation design and regulatory strategy.
