Brief Summary of the job:
We’re seeking a proactive, results-driven Account Executive to join our growing sales team at Tracx Systems. In this hunter/closer role, you’ll take ownership of a vibrant pipeline—working inbound leads while proactively reaching out to new prospects across both U.S. and Canadian markets. You’ll guide the full sales cycle from discovery to contract, supported by our Sales & Marketing Manager and specialized internal teams. This position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and is ideal for a motivated sales professional eager to make an impact in the fast-paced SaaS logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
You will:
- Respond promptly and effectively to inbound leads generated by our marketing engine.
- Strategically prospect via cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods.
- Qualify leads, conduct discovery calls, and understand customer needs deeply.
- Build and deliver your own software demonstrations tailored to complex logistics workflows.
- Prepare detailed proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
- Maintain accurate sales records and forecast within HubSpot and other tools.
- Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing Manager, product specialists, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and post-sale growth.
- Aim to reach full productivity and independent quota-carrying status within 90 days.
- Travel to tradeshows, conferences, and as required (US and Canada).
Qualifications: Education, Experience, Knowledge
Education
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Experience
5+ years in SaaS sales; 10+ years strongly preferred
Proven track record of hunter-style sales (prospecting through closing)
Experience selling into U.S. and Canadian markets
Familiar with logistics or transportation industries (highly valued)
Technical Skills
HubSpot (or similar CRM)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Phone systems, virtual meeting platforms, and related sales tools
Language
Fluent in English—strong verbal and written communication skills
