3-Ton Box Truck Driver – Furniture Delivery & Assembly
About the Role:
DelGate Logistics is hiring a reliable and experienced 3-Ton Box Truck Driver to join our team for furniture delivery and assembly across the Okanagan. This role is ideal for someone with a background in furniture delivery or moving, who takes pride in providing top-notch service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3-ton box truck for deliveries.
- Load, unload, and transport furniture with care
- Perform on-site furniture assembly (beds, sofas, tables, etc.)
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
- Experience working for a furniture delivery or moving company
- Furniture assembly skills
- Able to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs)
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a helper
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
